Attempt Burglary Bevington close Burnley

Good afternoon,

There has been a report of an Attempt Burglary on Bevington close that has taken place around 11:05pm on 01/08/2026, An address has been attended and a window has been smashed as well as entry tried to be gained as damaged caused to the door frame.

The property has not been entered as those involved have left after the window has been smashed. 

The report was not made until the day after as this is when it had been confirmed that the window had been smashed the time it happened it when a noise was heard by the victim but was not aware a window had been broken at that point.

Enquires have been on going re this crime,

Please can i advise residents to be aware of the crime and to make sure windows and doors are locked.
